Who are we?

The Oak Tree Counselling Service (T.O.T.C.S) is an established Professional Counseling Service based on the Association of Christian Counselling (ACC)guidelines and the British Association of Counselling (BACP) Ethical framework for good Practice.

What can we offer?

We provide a sensitive and confidential counselling service in keeping with current legislature, ACC and BACP guidelines

Our trained counsellors and psychotherapists offer individual or relationship counselling for people who are experiencing emotional, psychological or spiritual difficulties

How much will I have to pay?

The Oak Tree Counselling Service is run by trained and experienced volunteers who provide a high quality professional service. To cover ongoing costs and to ensure that the service is available for everyone, the charge per session is based on your income. There is a minimum charge for people who are on income support.

The Oak Tree Counselling Service is a Christian charity staffed and run by people for different denominations.

Our service is open to everyone who requires counselling support.

 

Issues we address

The Oak Tree Counselling Service offeres long term or short term support for a wide range of diffiulties including:

  • Self Esteem
  • Stress
  • Anger
  • Depression
  • Loss & Bereavement
  • Emotional or Spiritual Crisis
  • Work related issues (Redundancy, Bullying or Racism e.c.t)
  • Abuse (emotional, physical or sexual)
  • Relationship dificulties (Couples or families)
  • Domestic violence

What happens when you contact us?

You will be offered an initial assessment interview with a trained counsellor where you will have the opportunity to explain your difficulties.

Should you accept an offer for counselling with the Oak Tree Counselling Service you will be assigned to an ongoing counsellor as soon as there is availability.
